People are waiting at B and wanting to go to C, do they wait for a train that is going in that direction of would they board a train headed in the direction of A because it is still the line they need to take

So if someone from B wants to travel to A, he goes on platform 2 and travels to A, he won’t move over C to do that.
You can also see that, if you zoom in on the station, then you can see the people waiting on the according platform.
