It has really made the game unplayable.

I have deleted this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\< YOUR STEAM ID >\304730\local\texture_cache and changed the graphics settings to low but still the same.

I have a AMD a6 6400 apu processor, running windows 8.1 and a MSI r7 250 2gb graphics card.

Does anyone know what it is? How I can fix it?

[MOD] Norwegian landscape texture and fog reducer mod /forums/topic/mod-norwegian-landscape-texture-and-fog-reducer-mod/ Tue, 09 Sep 2014 00:18:02 +0000 /forums/topic/mod-norwegian-landscape-texture-and-fog-reducer-mod/ Continue reading ]]> Hey, after some time I decided to re-texture the grass etc, because it was to shiny. The reduced view distance also annoyed me so I fixed that too. Its at least way better view distance now at the large maps. The pictures are from a “Large” and “Hilly” map.

Click at the photos to enlarge. Of some reason the pictures become a little darker than the actual in game look.

About the mod:Norwegian landscape mod
The mod replaces some texture files in the terrain folder and tree folder. I made the trees a little darker to fit the terrain, so they don’t look like light sticks.

Fog reducer mod
This one reduces the fog and make the remaining fog a little more bluish to match the sky better.

Installation
How to install:

just merge the “res” file with the one in the Train fever folder.
I have steam and its located here for me: “D:\Programer\Steam\SteamApps\common\Train Fever”
So you will have to find your own some where.

The files will over write the in-game ones.

I would back up the original files before i added mods, just a tip.
