I do name buses, trams and freight trucks. It’s great that you can sort everything to your liking so you can keep up with how the various transports are doing. I start all names with the the name of the town. Very helpfull.

Every other vehicle I let its given name, I don’t care. They have their line names to sort them 😉

Lines on the other hand have a fairly strict naming system. City location, cargo type and a number.
