Still getting random crashes too often :( – Train Fever /forums/topic/still-getting-random-crashes-too-often/feed/ Wed, 30 Apr 2025 12:33:59 +0000 https://bbpress.org/?v=2.6.13 en-US /forums/topic/still-getting-random-crashes-too-often/#post-18284 <![CDATA[Still getting random crashes too often :(]]> /forums/topic/still-getting-random-crashes-too-often/#post-18284 Sun, 29 Mar 2015 12:18:17 +0000 leew Train fever is a great idea, but sadly every time I try to play it, it crashes too much to be enjoyable.  It is very annoying to spend an hour building a really nice line and a big complex 4 level junction only to have the game crash on me and to loose everything.  Each time an update comes out I try playing again, only for it to continue crashing, I just get a message saying train-fever.exe has stopped working, nothing more specific than that.  Is there any log files I can look at to figure out what is happening?

Does the error also occur if you run Train Fever as Administrator and even with no other program running?

Seeing that everything except the OS on my system is different, I am led to suspect a rather fundamental bug. Is there something the uninstall and removal of directory leaves behind that is referenced during startup? My other computers do not have graphics that support TF, so I cannot try on another computer.
